Internal revenue streams in the music industry via Fools Gold records

A musician I have been very into lately is Danny Brown. He is a 30 year old rapper who spent time in jail but also rocks an emo combover. He has a very unique voice and style, which brought me to his record label, Fools Gold. Upon looking at their various artists, I realized they not only have rappers (or mcs) signed to their label, but they also have djs and producers, as well as other pop artists all together. What this is accomplishing is allowing them to cross promote their musicians, with djs and producers creating tracks for the mcs, all under the same label. This can be witnessed by a compilation cd they put out http://www.foolsgoldrecs.com/releases/fools-gold-vol-1/ in which various djs remix versions of other producers versions of rappers songs. Pretty cool.
